Real-Time Updates

Dragon Planner keeps your view up to date automatically. When a teammate makes a change, you see it reflected on your screen without refreshing.

What Updates in Real Time

• 📊 Dashboards — Stats and charts refresh when work items change
• 💳 Work item lists & boards — Status changes, new items, and edits appear live
• 🔔 Notifications — New notifications pop up immediately
• 💬 Comments — New comments appear as teammates post them

Connection Status

If your connection to Dragon Planner's real-time service is interrupted, you'll see a banner at the top of the page:

⚠️ "Connection lost. Attempting to reconnect..."

The app automatically tries to reconnect. Once the connection is restored, the banner disappears and your data refreshes.

Tips

• 💡 If the connection banner stays for more than a minute, try refreshing the page.
• 💡 Real-time updates work across all pages — you don't need to be on the same page as your teammate to see their changes.
