Comments & Activity Timeline

The Comments tab on any work item shows a combined timeline of comments and activity — everything that's happened with this item in one place.

Adding Comments

Type your comment in the text box and press Save. Comments support:

• @Mentions — Type @ followed by a teammate's name to mention them. They'll receive a notification. A dropdown appears as you type to help you find the right person.
• Markdown — Use bold, italic, lists, code blocks, and links to format your comments.

Editing & Deleting

Hover over your own comments to see Edit and Delete options. You can only modify your own comments, not those posted by teammates.

Activity Log

Interspersed with comments, you'll see activity entries that automatically record changes like:

• Item created
• Status changed
• Assignee changed
• Priority updated
• Sprint assignment changed
• Item completed

These entries show who made the change and when, giving you a complete audit trail.

Tips

• 💡 Use @mentions to notify teammates who need to see something — they'll get both an in-app notification and an email (if enabled).
• 💡 The timeline is sorted newest-first, so the most recent activity is always at the top.
