Backlog View (Sprint Planning)

The Backlog view is designed for sprint planning. It helps you decide which items to include in upcoming sprints.
Layout
The view can be grouped in different ways using the Group by dropdown:
- No grouping — A flat list of all items
- By Epic — Items grouped under their parent Epics
- By Type — Items grouped by type (Story, Bug, Task, etc.)
- By Assignee — Items grouped by who they're assigned to
Assigning to Sprints
Drag items between the Backlog panel and the Sprint panel to assign or unassign them from a sprint. You can also use the sprint dropdown on individual items.
Reordering
Drag items within a group to change their order. The sequence is saved automatically, so you can prioritize your backlog by putting the most important items at the top.
Context Menu
Right-click any item for quick access to change status, priority, assignee, sprint, or story points.
Tips
- 💡 Use backlog grooming sessions to review and prioritize items before each sprint.
- 💡 Story points help your team estimate capacity — compare your sprint's total points to your team's velocity from past sprints.
Board View (Kanban)
The Board view organizes your work items into columns based on their status. It's a visual way to track what's happening at a glance.
