Working with the Tree
- Expand/Collapse — Click the arrow next to parent items to show or hide their children.
- Click a Row — Opens the detail modal for that item.
- Right-Click — Opens a context menu to quickly change status, priority, assignee, sprint, or story points without opening the full modal.
Drag and Drop
You can drag items to reorganize your hierarchy. Grab an item and drop it onto a new parent. Dragon Planner validates the move — if the parent-child relationship isn't allowed (for example, putting an Epic under a Task), you'll see a warning and the move won't happen.
Sorting & Filtering
Click any column header to sort. Use the filter dropdowns at the top of the page to narrow down by type or status.
Recurring Work Items
Some tasks repeat on a schedule — weekly reports, monthly reviews, daily standups. Dragon Planner's recurrence feature handles this automatically.
Board View (Kanban)
The Board view organizes your work items into columns based on their status. It's a visual way to track what's happening at a glance.
