The Roadmap view displays your work items as a Gantt-style timeline chart, giving you a visual picture of when work is scheduled and how items relate to each other.

What You'll See

  • 📊 Timeline bars — Each work item appears as a horizontal bar spanning its start and due dates. Items are color-coded by status.
  • 🔗 Dependency lines — If items have "blocks" or "depends on" relationships, lines connect them visually.
  • 🌳 Hierarchy — Parent items can be expanded to show their children, just like in the List view.

Zoom Levels

Use the zoom controls to adjust the time scale:

  • Week — See detailed day-by-day scheduling
  • Month — A broader view for medium-term planning
  • Year — The big picture across months

Interacting

  • Drag a bar's edges to change an item's start or due date
  • Click an item to open the detail modal
  • Expand/collapse parent items to show or hide children

Tips

  • 💡 Make sure your items have start dates and due dates set — items without dates won't appear on the timeline.
  • 💡 Use dependencies to show which items must finish before others can begin. This helps identify the critical path.
  • 💡 The Roadmap is great for stakeholder presentations — it shows schedule and dependencies in a format everyone understands.
