Work Items Overview

Work items are the building blocks of your projects. Everything you need to track — features, bugs, tasks, research — lives here.

Viewing Your Work

Dragon Planner offers four view modes that you can switch between using the tabs at the top:

• 📋 List — A hierarchical tree view showing parent-child relationships. Best for organizing and structuring work.
• 📝 Board — A Kanban board with columns for each status. Best for tracking flow.
• 📥 Backlog — (Scrum projects only) A planning view for assigning items to sprints.
• 📅 Activity — A chronological log of everything that's happened in the project.

Your preferred view is saved automatically and remembered next time you visit.

Selecting a Project

Use the sidebar to select a workspace and project. You can also click a project from the Workspaces or Dashboard pages. The work items page always shows items for the currently selected project.

Quick Filters

At the top of the list, you'll find dropdown filters for:

• Type — Show only Stories, Bugs, Tasks, etc.
• Status — Show only Todo, In Progress, Done, or Blocked items

These filters apply to all view modes.
