Work Item Statuses
Every work item has one of four statuses that track its progress.

Statuses
| Status | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| ⚪ Todo | Blue | Not started yet. This is the default for new items. |
| 🔵 In Progress | Teal | Actively being worked on. |
| ✅ Done | Green | Completed. The item is finished. |
| 🔴 Blocked | Red | Something is preventing progress. Needs attention. |
Changing Status
You can change an item's status in several ways:
- Detail Modal — Open the item and use the Status dropdown on the right side
- Kanban Board — Drag the card to a different column
- Right-Click Menu — Right-click any item in the list and choose a new status
- Bulk Operations — Select multiple items and update their status at once
Tips
- 💡 When an item is moved to Done, Dragon Planner records the completion date automatically.
- 💡 Blocked items stand out in red across all views, making them easy to spot and address.
- 💡 On the Dashboard, you can see how many items are in each status at a glance.
